Something new

Mood altering drugs for those who want to feel depressed.
We've got all sorts of uppers, stabilisers and numbing drugs but no depressors or anxiety causers.
Some drugs do have these things as known effects but they aren't the primary function. There's good reason they don't exist, nobody would want them, not until mood organs take over our emotional responses at least.

Out-of the-hat Posters 1

I translated my quote into Sartre's native language (French) and found a typeface made near where he was born, around the time he was alive. The font that fit best was Cochin, made when Sartre was 7 not far from where he was born in Paris.

Here are 2 of my favourite posters so far.

I'm leaning towards the latter

Out-of the-hat

"Three o'clock is always too late or too early for anything you want to do"  Jean-Paul Sartre (1905-1980)

"Trois heures est toujours trop tard ou trop tôt pour tout ce que vous voulez faire" original quote in French

Chance or Fate Week 1

My angle was to make something in the style of an old Russian Icon but with some art nouveau elements.
The general theme is Coffee and Cuddles over Death and Destruction

Illustration notes:
The Cafetier and Celo need work to fit with the main image.
Either improve flowers or replace them entirely
Unsure about peace symbol.
Face needs simplifying and smoothing
More arabesque and flowers
More scrolls / Type

Internet TV station

My idea was to create a platform to share and view tours of various places around the world made by the people that live there. Language would obviously be an issue for a global platform; so all text is automatically translated to the local language (according to the users preferences) and, the first click-able button on the home screen brings the user to the language select screen.
Language is something the content creators must take into consideration while making their videos; showing things visually and putting places into context is very important.
Video is not the only form of content (though that would make up a vast quantity of it) as users can submit panoramas and large images to be interacted with by zooming in and panning around.

To demonstrate my idea I made a simple app in inDesign that works on my Nexus 7 tablet. This is an offline image set so there are no interactive functions. On the live app on my tablet, most buttons work and there are some interactive features (such as a zoom and pan panorama at the end)
